The unmovable rock of the SONAR family comes in the shape of the HK Audio SONAR 115 Sub D active subwoofer. This sub perfectly matches and supports every one of the full-range speakers included in the SONAR range. In fact, it's so accommodating, it can even comfortably couple up to any other speakers, whether they're built by HK Audio or not. This is down to the fully adjustable crossover frequency, meaning that the sweet spot between the sub and any full-range speaker can be found. Loaded with a 15" woofer and a gigantic peak power of 1,500 Watts, this sub is the ideal addition to any 2.2 satellite set-up, or 2.1 system, and delivers a smooth, tight, and present low-end.

J ai acheté ce caisson de basse hk pour son rendu sonore excellent matériel a commandé sans hésitation
Enceinte de basse très puissante, permet de bien tout faire trembler, comme donner un bon coup de point.
le bass-boost est incroyable et très puissant. Sa réponse et sa réactivité est incroyable.
Ik heb de HK Audio SONAR 115 Sub D actieve subwoofer in combinatie met de HK Audio SONAR 115 Xi actieve Fullrange, 2.1 opstelling. Om te beginnen twijfelde ik enorm of een 15" subwoofer wel voldoende laag zou produceren, aangezien de 2 topjes ook zijn voorzien van een 15" woofer, vroeg ik me af of het verschil groot genoeg zou zijn. Daarom besloot ik deze subwoofer te huren bij Bax-Shop. Na wat papierwerk te hebben ingevuld werd de subwoofer verstuurd, allemaal keurig volgens afspraak. Ik heb deze subwoofer een tijdje kunnen testen in verschillende omstandigheden voor een eerlijke review.
Mijn ervaring is dat deze subwoofer zowel een heerlijke punch kan produceren als een kort maar harde klap. Het geluid klinkt vol en bijzonder aangenaam. Qua instellingen kun je deze subwoofer ook prima gebruiken in combinatie met andere speakers. De cross-over kun je met de SONAR serie automatisch laten bepalen, buiten de SONAR serie om kun je deze instellen van 60Hz tot en met 150Hz. Ook kun je met deze subwoofer de polariteit (Phase) wisselen, indien het frequentiespectrum niet tot zijn recht komt kun je deze omdraaien. Ook kun je de Delay regelen en heeft deze subwoofer een optie met Bass-boost. Ik gebruik zelf de Bass-boost optie niet aangezien de subwoofer voldoende levert. Mocht je een 2.4 opstellingen hebben kun je ervoor kiezen om de subwoofer in cardioid opstelling te plaatsen. In het menu van deze subwoofer kun je deze instellen. Aan de voorzijde van de subwoofer zit een led stripje ingebouwd die je in of uit kunt schakelen, ook kun je deze op limit zetten waardoor deze led-strip rood zal kleuren indien de subwoofer overstuurd zal raken. Bij normaal bedrijf zal deze led-strip wit-blauw uitstralen. Na de huurperiode neem ik deze subwoofer over van Bax-Shop. Een uitstekende toevoeging aan de HK Audio SONAR 115 Xi actieve Fullrange. Een optreden voor 150 man gaat meer dan prima met deze opstelling. Het vervoeren in je eentje is prima te doen. Conclusie: Zeer tevreden!
